My name is Venus and I cannot resist washi tape.
Oh those glorious rolls of pretty patterns and mouth watering colors. As much as I say NO MORE WASHI, I always give in and yesterday was no exception. I had missed out on the Valentine washi tape from Dollar Tree (I actually only found 3 of the patterns) and even though I really don't like Easter decor - I wanted to check out what styles they currently had in stock.

I had missed out on the Valentine washi tape from Dollar Tree (I actually only found 3 of the patterns) and even though I really don't like Easter decor - I wanted to check out what styles they currently had in stock.
All of the Easter tapes were in stock (of course those were), so I picked up 1 roll of bunnies (that's gonna last me years!), 1 roll of spring polka dots and 1 roll of the spring chevron. I headed over to the stationery section and GOLD MINE! The washi was fully stocked! I picked up the hearts, rainbow polka dots on black, spring diagonal lines and black/white paisley (or as I like to call it "old school gangster"). There were tons of others available including: happy faces, patriotic stars, cheetah, bright patterns, etc... but as much as I love washi tape, I am also super picky so I passed on the rest of the designs.
I also ran into Target yesterday to pick up some household odds and ends. Along the way, I stopped at the stationery section and found them totally expanding it! My eyes were able to peak at a wider selection of scrapbook, a whole new section of craft paint and oh wait, what?! MORE WASHI TAPE. Fortunately (for me), I was in a hurry and didn't notice anything super new but walls were being blocked off for incoming merchandise! Anyway, my eyes spotted these white/gold page clips and they were in my grubby little monster hands before I could even blink. At $3.95 for this set, I couldn't resist.
Over the weekend I also got my package from Joann.com! This baby was jam packed Martha Stewart Halloween ribbon, some gorgeous Project Life Halloween cards and washi tape: 4 rolls of Halloween washi, 1 roll of gold foil St. Patrick's day and I stocked up on the mint/silver dots.
All of these were more than 50% off & a coupon code making all of this around 10$ with free shipping!
Next post I will be sharing my new Dokibook (aka fake Kikki K planner) and all the little fun stationery items that came with that beauty!
